Head of Talent Acquisition H/F

Stuart

Do you feel like Strategic Recruitment and Strategic Leadership are two sides of the same coin?

Then this role might be a good fit for you.

Our client Stuart is a European-wide scale-up that connects both consumers and businesses to a large fleet of couriers to allow efficient, reliable and sustainable urban deliveries.

They are part of the DPD Group (La Poste) and have been expanding their operations for 7 years in more than 100 cities, with now more than 700 employees.

The Scope

The Talent Acquisition team is a group of 15 passionate people, with a lot of different nationalities and backgrounds all around Europe. There are 8 offices at the moment, and some people work remotely.

There are currently 2 Leads for the team, with several senior members taking responsibilities for their markets.

We have delivered a strategic recruitment audit for Stuart, and so there are a lot of data and ideas to build from.

Recruitment is an important topic for Stuart. The company has invested in the TA team and will continue doing so.

The Head of Talent Acquisition reports to the VP People.

The Mission

  • Managing the TA department at global level,
  • Working with your team on hiring the best talent for the company: both the ones we need now, and the ones we will need to build the future,
  • Empowering your team so they can bring their best game to the table, which includes relying on your Lead TA and Senior Recruiters through trust and thought leadership,
  • Providing Strategic counsel regarding Talent Acquisition to the business managers and up to C-level executives,
  • Working with the HR team to provide the best seamless experience to all new employees,
  • Developing a first-class Employer Brand program to build on Stuart’s successful candidate experience,
  • Along with all your management missions, getting operationally involved in strategic recruitments (around 1 per quarter).

What we are looking for:

  • An extensive experience in managing a TA department, OR a similar management experience on Strategic HR topics if you have worked in Recruitment in the past,
  • An international exposure, and the ability to work fully in English,
  • An ability to provide strategic leadership on all Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand matters,
  • An excitement for understanding how business works, and the mindset to always think about HR as a partner and not as a provider.
  • An experience working with data and metrics,
  • A keen interest for topics such as Candidate Experience, Diversity & Inclusion, and building a solid community of hiring managers.

What will matter most on this role:

  • Doing the connection with the business. Your role will be to be a Business Leader and to drive the TA department the closest you can to all the other departments.
  • Having a KPI approach. The company has grown fast, and the recruiters have done a fantastic job. Now is the time to bring more structure.
  • The kindness and openness: this team has been built around great human values, which they are proud to reflect on their candidate experience. The new Head of TA must share this mindset.

About the process: please expect 4 to 5 interviews in total, most of which can happen remotely.

This role can be based in Paris – London – Barcelona (hybrid remote)
